Introduction

The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI), West Bengal State Branch formed a Trust named “Trust of West Bengal State Branch of The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India” on 18th April, 2013 with the then Secretary General of the HMAI, Dr. Shyamal Kumar Mukherjee as the Chairman, the then General Secretary of the West Bengal State Branch Dr. H. D. Jaiswal as the Hony. Secretary/Managing Trustee and immediate Past General Secretary of the West Bengal State Branch Dr. Susanta Saha as the Finance Secretary and other members. The Trust came forward with its visionary outlook to fulfill the long cherished dream of the HMAI BHAWAN with self confidence, firm determination and vigor of a youth full to the brim with the whole hearted support, help & co-operation of the HMAI Members in a team. This unbeatable Trust exerted its full strength to synchronise the whole things from collecting fund and land, making a plan to initiate the foundation stone on 25th January, 2015 and build the HMAI BHAWAN boldly. The foundation Stone was laid by Dr. V. C. Acharya, the immediate Past President of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India. The wild oceanic force at last fulfilled the dream of long 41 years by opening the HMAI BHAWAN on 25th September, 2016 inaugurated by Dr. (Smt.) Sashi Panja, the
Hon’ble State Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal. The grand Inauguration and Opening Ceremony of the HMAI BHAWAN held in presence of Dr. Rathin Chakraborty, Hon’ble Mayor, Howrah Municipal Corporation as the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour Shri Sujit Bose, Hon’ble Secretary, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Shri Ashok Deb, Hon’ble Member, West Bengal Legislative
Assembly, Dr. Santanu Sen, the respected General Secretary of the IMA, West Bengal, Dr. Ramjee Singh & Dr. Arun Bhasme, the President and the vice president of Central Council of Homoeopathy respectively, Dr. Bhaskar Bhatt, the President, HMAI, Dr. V.
